RAYMOND COONS OBITUARY Raymond "Tom" Coons of Schertz, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the age of 79. He was born on February 17, 1944 in Richmond, Virginia to Ray and Kathleen Coons. He was a small arms expert marksman, a graduate of NCO Military Education, had a longevity service award, a National Defense Service Medal, served in Vietnam twice, and received numerous other service medals and ribbons. He graduated from the USAF Senior NCO Academy, NCO Leadership School.
