Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD Superintendent Clark Ealy announced his retirement during a Sept. 12 called board of trustees meeting .The meeting, which was held mostly in closed session, had board discussions regarding Ealy's retirement and the beginning discussions of the superintendent search.Ealy will continue as the superintendent until Jan. 31, giving the board around four months to find a new superintendent. The background Ealy became the superintendent for SCUCISD in February 2020 after serving as the superintendent for College Station ISD for around six years.
